Has advanced training in manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, shoulder and knee rehabilitation, sports-related rehabilitation, cervical and lumbar rehabilitation, and ankle/ lower kinetic chain biomechanics and rehabilitation.

Received the Steven J. Rose Research Award from the University of Miami School of Medicine for his co-authored Master's thesis on research in the area of assessment of gait in individuals with incomplete spinal cord injuries.
